Skip hire costs at 1st Choice Waste Management are based on the skip size you choose. We offer fixed, transparent pricing with no hidden extras, making it easier to budget for your project.

Each price includes delivery, collection, and waste disposal. You can place your order online or by calling our team directly.

Our skips are suitable for most non-hazardous waste including garden cuttings, household items, wood, plastics, and general construction debris. This makes them ideal for both domestic and commercial clearances.

However, you must avoid putting items such as fridges, tyres, asbestos, gas bottles, paints, solvents, and electrical goods into the skip. If in doubt, just give us a call and we’ll advise what’s safe to include.

We provide skips on hire for up to 14 days, giving you plenty of time to complete your project. This standard hire period is included in the price with no extra cost.
If your job runs longer than expected, just let us know in advance. We’ll do our best to extend your hire or arrange for a replacement skip if needed.

Yes, if you plan to place the skip on a public road or pavement, a skip permit is required from your local council. The rules vary depending on the location and local authority.
At 1st Choice Waste Management, we can arrange this permit on your behalf. Simply let us know when booking, and we’ll take care of the paperwork for you.

Our pricing covers everything from skip delivery and collection to responsible waste disposal. The hire period of up to two weeks is also included at no extra charge.
